A cozy little restaurant. The menu is small, but the dishes have a unique touch and are very delicious. The mussels with a hint of vinegar are quite unusual. The shrimp is a classic. And the baby octopus in a delicious sauce simply melts in your mouth. Everything is very tasty and served quickly!

Really tasty food, wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. The were is full of promises of patrons who will return one day and I can see why. The chicken and tomato sauce and spicy wild fries really hit the spot! Thank you for a delicious and satisfying later dinner in Faro.

The food in this place was amazing. So authentic. The service top class yet humble, felt like home. Very attentive and smiles all over. I can't believe I haven't tried this place having been in Faro for 3 days now. Definitely recommend

Jose was brilliant - very knowledgeable and helpful. It was lovely to find out a bit more about the place and his story. Food was fantastic - we had House vine and a few tapas dishes. The carrots were amazing as well as all the other food. It is small side way place but it has the real Portuguese spirit - I would recommend it 100%

The place is charming and the waitress was very nice and suggested me to try the Rodrigo dessert when I asked if they had Pastel de Nata, it was a great surprise to try something new.
The mussels were amazing and I wanted to try the mini squids, this is a well served plate with a good quantity of food.

This place was so incredible my friend and I went back twice during our stay in faro. Ana was absolutely lovely and recommended dishes as well as places to check out in Faro. We ordered the cuttlefish calamari, the fried shrimp witu garlic (recommended by the staff), as well as pica pau a cruzeiro and started with a lettuce and tomato salad. It was all delicious and flavourful and I would 110% recommend this place for tapas. We came back a second time to have the cataplana (it did not disappoint) as well as the anchovies on garlic toast. Local feels-like-home portuguese food. Price should be unbeatable. Around 12 to 15 per dish and a humbpe selection of wines ranging from 13 to 18 euros. Everything is done with care and fresh. Highly recommended.

What an amazing little place, we walked past here a couple of times then just thought on the off-chance to drop in. Doesn't look much from the outside but gorgeous atmosphere and incredible food. Absolutely recommend hunting this place down if you're in Faro

Small, family owned restaurant with an incredibly delicious and authentic food. We ordered Cataplana and the amount and variety of seafood was really plentiful. On top of that the dish was tasty and really well seasoned! Highly recommended!

We had the fried shrimps, traditional scramble eggs and chicken. Also tried the green wine. They are all very good with reasonable prize. The staffs are very nice and welcoming. Really enjoyed our meal there.

Found this place accidentally and so happy we did. I had the big shrimps and it was delicious. From the potatoes to sangria to fresh shrimp I was very pleased. My friends had the fish of the day and they loved it too. Also, dishes under 10€! Would definitely recommend!!
The wonderful tunes lured me over. A group of musicians were gathered in the corner singing and playing. Glorious. On top of this great food, lovely attentive waitress and a super price, 16 euros for starter of lovely fresh olives and bread, main and a glass of vino.

This quaint little restaurant was our best find in Faro. Don't get me wrong, Faro is a beautiful place with lots to see and do but this restaurant captured us the first night and we ate there every night whilst in Faro ... that's just how great the food was.
Tasquinha Cruzeiro "Yellow House" sits back from a main street in a small square, quiet, cute and unobtrusive. It would be easy to miss or overlook and that would be a huge mistake.
Maria, the owner, and her staff serve authentic Portuguese fare at very reasonable prices. While we couldn't try everything on the menu in three nights we can certainly recommend the veal in port, the garlic prawns, the vegetable soup (gazpacho) ... each of them is a prize winning dish.
Maria and her staff make you feel like part of the family. Everyone works to make your experience special and worth remembering. Each of them comes to make sure you are enjoying the atmosphere and the meal ... even the kitchen staff come out to see that you're happy. We ate on the early side so didn't need a reservation but if you're planning to eat later, you ought to make a reservation.
This is a very special restaurant that we highly recommend. Don't miss your opportunity to enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine, a quaint atmosphere and staff that make you feel like family and at home.- Serviço

The best cod fish and cuttlefish calamari, together with a solid EA wine bottle. Recommend 100% this cozy and traditional restaurant. The chocolate mousse os divine. Extremely welcoming and the owner is very kind and caring of your experience. A must stop while on Faro
